History

2007

• Formation: Formed in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
• Early shows: Began playing locally in Salisbury and Southampton.

2008

• First recordings: Released demos online via MySpace.
• BBC Introducing: Received airplay on BBC Introducing in Wiltshire.

2009

• Glastonbury Festival: Reached the final of the Emerging Talent Competition and played the Queen's Head Stage on 25 June, on a bill that also included Marina and the Diamonds, The Wombats and Bombay Bicycle Club.
• Salisbury Christmas lights switch-on: Performed at the city's annual switch-on event in November.

2010

• Studio work: Recorded material towards a debut album.
• Touring: Played dates across the UK, including seven southern dates supporting Attack! Attack! in October and November.

2011

• Debut album: Released Dance Like You Mean It.
• McFly tour support: Supported McFly on fourteen dates of the Above the Noise Tour in March and April, including Wembley Arena and Manchester Evening News Arena.
• Wheatus tour support: Supported Wheatus on twenty-three dates of their UK tour between September and October, including O2 Academy Islington in London.

2012

• Hiatus: The band ceased regular performances.

2026

• Bass Connection 30th anniversary: Reunited after fourteen years for a one-off set at Salisbury Arts Centre, marking 30 years of Bass Connection, the Salisbury youth music project the band was part of and rehearsed at.
